The Wedding photographer
A wedding is one of the most important events in a person life and Harvey understands the responsibility of the important event. He diligently prepares weeks before the wedding by meeting the couple weeks to finalise everything. He meets the couple at the wedding venue to get the couple comfortable with him and takes a few pictures to get the couple relaxed in front of the camera. He takes test shots of the venue to checks the light condition and plans the shoot. He plans what camera setting to use; he mediates and rehearses this in his minds eye through the days leading to the wedding. He treats each wedding as the most important task event in his own life and understands that the couple has been planning it for years with great detail and cost.

Harvey goes to venue before hand so to rehearse so nothing goes wrong using a map and a sat nav and always arrives 1 hr before the wedding diligently checking the light conditions again and always has a back up plan in case of bad weather for the bridal and group shots.

Harvey tries to record a honest record of the day as it really was but always includes traditional shots as many couples still expect this. He tries to capture the spirit of the day whilst interfering little as possible .He tries to capture the feeling and the emotion of the day, pictures which are natural, relaxed and spontaneous. Harvey tries to work quickly and efficiently with little interruption throughout the day and creates great results. Harvey captures the atmosphere of the whole day, from the last minute preparations on the morning through to the emotion and happiness of the service and the reception through to the party. Harvey considers it a great honour to able to photograph someone’s wedding and finds it the most inspiring, motivating and creative task a photographer can have. Harvey accepts this as a challenge and consistently produces the very best results he can from the occasion.
